Let's not get too fancy. The world is full of wine, good wine. We have wines for that special occasion, wines for your cellar and plenty of value wines. Because everyone's taste and wallet is different, we enjoy finding a wine that is perfect for you. Everyone tastes, smells, and describes wines subjectively. It may take time for us to understand what you like. As we develop an understanding of your personal tastes we will keep record of your hits and misses (hopefully not to many). Ask us for three inexpensive choices ranging from $7-10 per bottle. The next time you visit, tell us which wines you liked and disliked. This will help us understand your preferences for future selections.
Every item brought in is tasted in-house to assure you will be buying the great wine you deserve. The tasting rack is a rotating selection of wines that are to be taken home and enjoyed. There are 50 selections, all priced under $15. Items in bins are wines thatwe find exceptional; we liked them so much, we purchased more. These wines are sometimes bargains, sometimes allocated and sometimes just plain fantastic. There are also bins by designated regions: these wines range in price from $15 and up.
We welcome special orders - every effort will be made to fill your requests. All wines in the store are first come, first served, email and web postings included. We offer an 8% discount on mixed cases, and a 12% discount on full cases. We offer four seasonal mixed case selections throughout the year - 12 bottles, our picks, all for a set price. Watch for these, as they are exceptional wines at a great price.
Just wanted to write and let you know that I just opened one of the bottles of the 2008 Shaya Habis I purchased at the wine/cheese tasting on Sunday. I do not normally buy moderately priced wine because your selection of wine with prices up to about $15.00 a bottle are so wonderful. I want you to know that I am more in love with this wine now then I was Sunday. I will keep the remaining bottles just for special occasions, however I truly believe I got my money's worth and I will always support your shop!! You know how to pick wine.
