💛 25 years of all things delicious
Can you believe it?

Twenty-five years ago, bayleaf opened in a 200-square-foot shop tucked under the Oystercatcher, thanks to the encouragement (and good taste) of then-owner Susan Vanderbeek. You should have seen those first shelves—so bare they practically echoed. But Coupeville showed up in full force: front-page news in the Examiner, an open house packed with curious food lovers, and more community support than we ever imagined.
And here we are, 25 delicious years later.
We’re celebrating the best way we know how—with good food, good stories, and a little fun. Grab a bayleaf bingo card next time you’re in (or complete online)—it’s filled with the memories, moments, and bites that make this place what it is. Check off your squares, post your card or bring it back, and you’ll get 25% off any one item—a tasty thank-you for being part of the story.
Every completed card turned in by
November 30 goes into our
25th Anniversary Drawing for a selection of very bayleaf-y prizes—$250 gift certificate, a pound of house brie a month for a year, a holiday box and more!
So come play, reminisce, and help us toast to
25 years of all things delicious.
